Ukrainian National Bank Considering Launching State Digital Currency Tied To Local Fiat

It was only a matter of time before governments would try to make their own regulated cryptocurrencies. The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) is contemplating throwing their hat into the ring, with a “blockchain-based hryvnia” (Ukranian dollar).
